Cracks in the wall can be concerning. While fixing the crack can be an easy fix, it is important to know what causes the cracks to see if there is a more serious underlying concern. We recently repaired various cracks in this apartment unit on Northwest Ave in Bellingham, WA. The repair process includes:
- Prepping the wall by scraping away loose material
- Applying the first coat of mud/spackle/caulking
- Sanding the area
- Applying the second coat of mud/caulking
- Sanding the area again
- Adding texture and repainting the area
